Diehard fans know that Urban Outfitters is the ever-dependable go-to destination for affordable, edgy, bohemian and vintage-inspired pieces. Then, once you’re done outfitting your wardrobe for the season, Urban Outfitters is ready and waiting for you to redo your boho-chic apartment with their latest bedding and home decor. It’s literally that one-stop-shop for “cool girl” aesthetic.
There are few retailers quite like Urban Outfitters, and I’m sure they’d like to keep it that way. Still, we were up for the challenge of finding you a solid list of stores like Urban Outfitters because a girl can never have too many awesome options.
To make our list, these stores had to appeal to fashion-inspired youth, and have a decent to complete collection of vintage-inspired designs. After a lot of scouring, sifting, and sorting we ended up curating this unprecedented list of stores that are individually unique but still share that same Urban Outfitters spirit.
1. Free People
Free People makes our list as a boho alternative. Urban Outfitters, Free People, and Anthropologie are all members of the same family, beneath the URBN brand. If URBN has shown they know anything it's that they know how to create and cultivate brands that speak to the free-spirited shopper. Although all three brands are owned by the same company, they each have their own identity.
Whereas Urban Outfitters feels like the youngest sister of the three, Free People feels like the middle child. The Urban Outfitters lover shops Free People as a solid transition into a more mature style aesthetic that still prioritizes bohemian staples like flowing silhouettes and basics made of quality linens.
In terms of price, Free People is considerably more expensive than Urban Outfitters ranging anywhere from $40-180. And, its sizing ranges XS-XL for tops and dresses and 24-32 for denim.

2. Forever 21
Forever 21 is a must-have alternative for Urban Outfitters shoppers.
